Product sense or judgment, at least to me, is a kind of natural intuition that helps you see what makes a product good or bad, and how to approach decisions in different scenarios.
But the internet seems pretty divided about what it actually is.
A few interpretations of what it could mean:
- Deep knowledge of a domain and its market
- The ability to get as close to the user’s mindset as possible and anticipate their response
- “Gut feeling with extra steps”
